It's Madness

Guess what time it is?!?!?!?! That is right, the 3rd week of March. So, if anyone is interested in participating in our 2nd annual NCAA bracket tournament challenge, please leave a comment, email me, call me etc. I have set up a free bracket through CBS.com and if you want to join I will send you an email invite.
Important stuff: Brackets need to be filled out by 9:00 am this Thursday, March 19th
This is free, so there will be no monetary pay off in the end, but the winner will get pie.
You do not have to have a blog to participate, but you do have to be female (it is just more fun that way right?!?!?)
This is different than the bracket Ryan is doing - I am doing both.

I hope we get some participants here!!! Of course there will be a final game party at the end so we can do the presentation of the winnings.

On another note, did anyone else see the feathers falling out of the sky yesterday? You may have to enlarge the photo, but the flakes were so big it was amazing!

I have had a hard time with posting lately. I have been trying for 4 days now to get a video posted . . . . no luck. So here are a few photos of our little one. On another note, we had an appt. yesterday for our littlest one, and everything looks great! 23 weeks along and doing well.

This week has been beautiful! Unfortunately we have not been able to enjoy it that much since we have been feeling a little under the weather in our household. We finally made a break for it today and got outside for a play in the park. Lets hope it was a healing experience for Sean.

I hope you all are enjoying the sun . . . . perhaps spring is upon us already??!?!?!!

Happy Valentine's Day

Hope you have a wonderful day with your loved ones

Love Ryan, Katie, Sean, and baby X (or should I say XX)

The other day, the sun came out.
Today I am reminicing as it rains outside (and should continue to rain for the rest of February)
We went to the park with Mandy and Leta - you can tell from the first picture that it had been a while since we had been. Sean was like . . . hey, I remember this!
And then we joined Rebekah, Simon, and Levi for a picnic lunch at another park.

photo catch up

It is sad that I just today got pictures off our camera from Christmas onto the computer?!?! So as I was scrolling through the 200+ pictures I realized that consistent uploading and blogging really is the smart thing to do. Here are a few pics of Sean over the last month and what he has been up to:

These photos are from Christmas, the first is a family shot, and the last three are Sean and his little cousin Abbi - he was being so sweet, hugging, kissing, etc. and then . . . . the fish hook. Some of you out there may also have been lucky enough to experience this.
Still obsessed with his guitar - tuning it up
and playing a little dittyGetting another haircut - so apparently he is no longer scared of the clippers, they now tickle. Still working on his smileand sometimes flashing a good one
Still doing and LOVING his creative movement class with Nana

And finally, Leta and Mandy invited us to the children's museum a few days ago - Sean is still talking about the Bus, Car, and Drums (not pictured) I think he enjoyed himself. Thanks girls for taking us!!!

20 months

Have I mentioned lately how fun this stage is that Sean is in right now?!?!? We are having a blast with this little guy - cracking up at him, amazed by the connections he makes, in awe of the words he uses, and a little intimidated at his sponge-like brain right now. Just the other day he was drinking milk with a straw at the table and he spilled a little on his arm and immediately said, "Oh gosh". Ummmm oops.

Ryan and I have said all along that we wish we could just stop time and have Sean stay at the age he is in forever, and that rings true still. I remember when Sean was born I was so overwhelmed with joy and love that I would literally just start crying with those emotions. I really don't think anything has changed. I hope to get more pictures on soon, life has been busy. Hope you are all well.

three kiddos

Mandy, Randi, and I got together last week with the kids to let them play visit for a while. We of course tried to snap a cute photo of the three of them, here is what we got, there seriously was not one where the were even looking the same direction.

And, we are done.
Finally, a little room!
