Ryan recently heard on the radio that it costs approximately $800,000 to have and raise a child to the age of 18 (including college). Based on that information Ryan and I have decided to auction off the naming rights of the little guy to the highest bidder. Here are a few pictures of him at our big 18 week ultrasound to help you get started (Isn't he cute!).

He is about 5 - 5 1/2 inches long at this point!

He already is taking after his father with his bowlegged stance! Ready for the wranglers I guess.
Matt & I will pay you $500 if you name the little guy Tyler Skyler Kyler. What do you think?
ReplyDeleteOr Matthew Amanda Kyler - whichever you prefer.

ReplyDeleteI think Ryan said he dreamed his name shall be called Tanner Antelope...:)...sound cute to me!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you are auctioning off the rights to name my grandson!!! Say it ain't so! I'm thinking you should name him after one of his great-great grandpa's - Homer or Gunder. Or maybe you could change it to Gunner, since he will probably take care of the prairie dog problem on the ranch by the time he is three! I think he looks a bit like his Uncle Tim, except for the size of his head (which is a very good thing!) Thanks for the pics - we are excited!!!!
ReplyDeleteI think Mandy wins..I don't have that much cash.
ReplyDeleteThanks for all your suggestions - I am still holding out for the heavy bidders. I know its gonna get crazy, just wait . . .
ReplyDeleteI'd give you cash for naming him Roberto. But Roberto Kyler sounds like Roberto Carlos and then that would relate him to the Brazilian Singer, or the Brazilian soccer player... hmm, nah it doesn't match.
ReplyDeleteCouple of bucks for Bob.
I'm suspicious of that number - does that include "subsidized" costs like education and full medical expenses that are covered by the state and/or medical insurance or is that real out of pocket expense? I know, I'm a nerd. But still curious.
ReplyDeleteI will pay an additional $500 if you name him Tyler Skyler Kyler. That's hilarious! But you also have to promise to only ever call him by all 3 names. No abbreviations.
You guys are funny!!!
ReplyDeleteeto- I think you are right, Roberto just doesn't flow right with Kyler, Bob however . . . .
Polly - I guess I could try and track down the data behind the study, but then I might get grouped into your nerd category (like I am not already!).
Tim - I am so proud! My funny little brother! I laughed so hard when I read your comment, mostly because of how true it is!
love you all!
