It's beginning to look a lot like . . . .
Christmas! Sean got his first experience with Santa at the North Star Christmas party - he did great and was not scared at all! It was pretty cute.
We also went and got our Christmas tree this past weekend - we actually went in the snow which made it somewhat magical, but also made it a quick trip which was nice. I will post pictures of the actual tree later.
It's beginning to look a lot like . . . Sean got a hair cut! I know, I know, you are all asking if he really needed one - well, no. But Ryan, being the stylist that he is (my brother will let no one else even touch his hair) was getting itchy fingers every time he looked at Sean's little hairs growing over his ears. So our little boy got is first little cut. He did really well - he would get a little uneasy every time the clippers got up next to his head, but no tears were shed and he looks good! I suppose he should get used to the clippers because I am sure this will be the first of many cuts to come.
It is also beginning to look a lot like . . . we unfinished our basement. So when we bought our house 5.5 years ago 1/2 the basement was finished. There was a bedroom, a rec room, and a pieced together closet (I don't have any before pictures of this). We spent the first 3 years of living in this house finishing the other half of the basement to look like this:
So our whole basement was finished. . . until yesterday. In just a matter of hours the rec room and bedroom became fully unfinished due to the great flood 2007! Always an adventure huh? I guess that means we can spend the next 3 years finishing this part of our basement. Luckily the bathroom and closet were fine. Thank you Joe, Corbett, & Zack for all your help yesterday - you guys were amazing!!!!
