Christmas in NM

We joined Ryan's parents in NM for Christmas again this year. We had a great time, espcially considering it was 60 degrees where we were, and blizzard like back home. Sean had a blast as usual.

"Nose"
Riding Peaches, the pony
Saying "Hi" to Santa riding by on the town's fire engine
The little town we stay in lines luminaries all along the main street and all over the Church - it is very beautiful, yet hard to capture with a camera. Here is the Nativity scene at the church you can see a few luminaries at the base of the photo.
Laughing with Daddy and the horses
And finally . . . the guitar Sean got as a Christmas gift. He is officially obsessed with guitars - it is so fun to watch him play and dance.Hope you all had a great holiday season and are enjoying the new year!

Thanksgiving break :: Day Three

Day three was a full day - the boys played and played, Abbi watched, and the rest of us enjoyed the scenery.

Thanksgiving break :: Day Two

It is kind of a shame, but I actually did not take many photos on Thanksgiving Day - no pictures of the food, no pictures of the family that day . . . what was I thinking? Mary made an amazing dinner as always, and we were blessed to have my sister and her family join us at the ranch this year. Kristi also brought with her some wonderful additions to the meal. Here are a few pictures of the scenery at the ranch from that day.

Thanksgiving break :: Day One

We had an amazing time in Montana for Thanksgiving break - we took a lot of pictures so I will split it up into a few posts; here is day one on the Ranch:

Sean getting used the cold weather, and his mittens (notice the next few pics, they did not stay on long)

Watching Grandpa break horses
Hanging out with Grandma

My brother, Tim, came out with us - here he is helping out with chores

Sorry dad, seat's taken.
A good compromise
A few deer
Sean playing with some toys at Grandma's house - he is pointing to the shark. He loves sharks, and bees. Weird?

Isn't this really what blocks are for?
