Spring

There are two trees in our yard that look so dead and barren all winter long but each spring they wow me with their amazing color and blooms. I thought it would be fun to do a little picture documentation as this process happens - not every day, but hopefully at least once a week. It would be fun to see some others do the same thing so we can watch God's amazing craftsmanship and creativity through nature. Here are the two I will be following:

This first one I have yet to find the name for but it has cherry blossom type blooms on it.
This second one is our Japanese maple that I have talked about before. It has very sentimental meaning to Ryan and I and has incredible leaves that change through spring, summer, and fall.

I love this idea too Katie. We have a japanese maple in our yard so I might have to join you...I am excited to see how God will spoil us with his spring show!

i'll have to see if the tree in our front yard does something, anything...I have no idea what it is as it was barren when we bought the place. what a fun little surprise that will be..I'm hoping it too is a japanese maple..i just love them in the fall!

yah! that's a great idea Kaite, only I'll have to find something OTHER than the 3 very large Rhododendron's to follow...why was it so popular to invade one's yard with these sticky, flowering beasts in the 60's??
