Have I mentioned . . .

Have I mentioned how amazing it is to feel the baby move? Our little guy is quite the mover - experts say that with your first you should start to feel the movement anywhere between 20-24 weeks. Well he was kicking hard at 18, "gonna be a soccer player"! So for 2 months now I have gotten to experience this little life moving inside me. It is pretty bazaar, but so amazing. The coolest part is when Ryan feels/sees him move also - I can't even start to explain the connection that I feel with Ryan & our child, it is like the coolest feeling of being a family and being filled with so much love. I have heard from friends who are parents that you cannot even imagine the love you feel with a child - I think I am beginning to understand what they are talking about. Sometimes I just lay there and think about our little boy and how he is living, hearing, thinking, and so connected to me right now - I hope I can remember these moments 4 months from now when I am going on 2 hours of sleep. Here is a picture of the precious little legs and feet we have been feeling. We are just getting into our third trimester - you know the one where I just get huge . . . so I am really trying to enjoy the little kicks, moves, and pokes now because I have a feeling as he grows it will not be quite as cute.

Have a great week!

What a sweet post Katie. I have seen you and Ryan connecting in a new way myself and it is so beautiful you are both going to be the most amazing parents and I can not wait to lay my eyes on your son...don't worry when you are running on two hours you can drop him off with me for nap time.:)...oh and sweet Katie huge is NOT you pregnant sorry your tiny and adorable and it is hard for me to not slap you because it just looks so good on you unlike me miss chipmunk cheeks...good thing we named our guy Simon (wasn't he a chipmunk?)
